Scene Set Up

Layers

Ensure the iClimbTag layer is set to layer number 24.

Ensure the iClimbFreeClimb layer is set to layer number 25.

Ledge Climbing

Create an empty object in your scene and call it "iClimbTagManager".

Add the iClimbTagManager component to this object.

Brush Editor

Use the brush editor to place tags or ledge prefabs on the different objects in your scene. See the Brush Editor page for more details on how to use the brush editor.

Auto Generator

If your mesh already has climb holds built into the object, then you can use the Auto Generator to automatically place iClimbTags on your mesh. See the Auto Generator page for more details on how to use the auto generator.

Free Climbing

Select the object you want as your freeclimb surface, and assign it to the iClimbFreeClimb layer.

In the example image below, the vines are set to the Ignore Raycast layer, so that they don't interfere with the underlying climbing surface.
